2020 Summer Leagues Postponed to Start June 1

6-5-2020 update: all summer leagues NOW officially start June 22-25. Learn more about leagues starting earlier!

Due to the recent extended stay-at-home orders and the uncertainty of the pandemic, we are postponing all summer leagues to start Monday, June 1!

What does that mean?

  • Team registration is still open. If your team hasn't registered yet, sign up now! Early bird registration for bocce ball & bean bags ends Friday, May 8.
  • Volleyball leagues - postponed to start Monday, June 1 - Thursday, June 4.
  • Volleyball captains' meeting - tentatively postponed to Wed, May 27. We're considering a virtual meeting.
  • Bocce ball - postponed to Tuesday, June 2 - Thursday, June 4 (postponed 1 week, starting the same week as volleyball).
  • Bean bags - Monday leagues still start June 1. Tuesday bags are postponed to June 2 (they originally started May 26 so now start 1 week later).
  • College volleyball leagues -  postponed to Monday, June 1.
  • Spikeball leagues - still scheduled to start Sunday, June 7.
  • High School volleyball leagues - still scheduled to start for Sunday, June 7.

For volleyball teams that missed the first 4 weeks, you will be REFUNDED.

Volleyball Teams Already Signed Up

  • If your volleyball team already signed up and paid, you will be refunded (for the missed weeks) when we start. If your bocce or bags team already signed up, the team fees are remaining the same.
  • If you signed up and have NOT paid yet, your volleyball team's fee is now discounted online in your dashboard

Not Signed Up Yet?

  • For teams that haven't signed up yet, the team registration fees are now discounted for volleyball and accurate on our website.
  • For teams that sign up during early bird (through Friday, May 8 for bocce & bags leagues), your team registration fee is locked-in at the discounted rate. If leagues are postponed, you'll be locked-in at the discounted rate for refunds. You can also sign up now to lock-in early bird pricing and choose the option to "Pay Later" after registration.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The big "What If" question: What if we can't have a summer volleyball season? You will be refunded if the season can't happen. But with the information we currently have, we plan to play (even if the league starts later). If it needs to be further delayed, partial refunds would be based on missed weeks. Since the summer leagues are now postponed to start June 1-4, we have already discounted for the missed weeks for volleyball.
  • Have more questions? Email them to and we will answer (and post them here if other players have those same questions!).

As of now, Governor Walz's current stay-at-home orders are through Monday, May 18. Restaurants, bars, and entertainment activities are still required to be closed. If anything changes about leagues, teams will be notified. If you need more information, please email or call 218-727-8555.

Stay healthy at home now so we can play later this summer!
